On March 29, Yuxia Feng, Chairman of JOINN Laboratories (China) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "JOINN ") signed a settle down agreement with leaders of Chongqing Liang Jiang New Area. JOINN Southwest Center was officially settled in Chongqing Liang Jiang New Area, which mainly builds a service platform for preclinical safety evaluation, preclinical and clinical sample testing, which focuses on pharmacology and toxicology.

Chenggang Duan, member of the Standing Committee of Chongqing Municipal Party Committee, secretary of the Party Working Committee of Liang Jiang New Area and director of the Management Committee of Liang Jiang New Area; Lin Zhou, member of the Party Committee and vice director of the Municipal Health Commission; Li Luo, member of the Party Group and vice director of the Municipal Drug Administration, and relevant persons in charge of municipal departments in Liang Jiang New Area and JOINN attended the event.

Yuxia Feng said that Chongqing Liang Jiang New Area has a good infrastructure and an attractive talent policy; Leaders and investment teams at all levels in Chongqing are responsible and diligent, with good service spirit and professional quality. All departments, such as planning site selection, infrastructure, and policy support, have given a full interpretation and support. After comprehensive consideration, we firmly choose to settle in Chongqing Liang Jiang New Area, which has a good political and business environment, and has excellent people. We will build JOINN Southwest Center in Chongqing Liang Jiang New Area, and build JOINN Chongqing Biological Silicon Valley to a one-stop service platform for the whole industrial chain of new drugs R&D and production with international standards.

Liang Jiang New Area

Liang Jiang New Area was established on June 18, 2010. It is the third and first inland national-level new area in China approved by the State Council. Liangjiang is located in the east, north of the Yangtze river and Jialing river in Chongqing urban area has been formed scale of about 4000 mu of biological medicine industry cluster, synchronized advanced biological medicine, medical equipment, health service.

At present, Liang Jiang New Area has accumulated nearly 100 biomedical enterprises, covering biomedical, high-end chemical preparations, modern Chinese medicine, high-end medical devices and health and medical services, and the completed output value reached nearly 70 billion yuan.
